Terms of use

Last updated: 13 October 2026

By creating an account you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

What the service is

KinKeeper Life ID lets you create a page of emergency information and a QR code that opens it. It helps a bystander contact your family. It is not an emergency service, an ambulance service or a medical provider. In an emergency, always call 112, or 108 for an ambulance.

Your responsibilities

  • Enter accurate information, especially the blood group, allergies and phone numbers, and keep it up to date. Others may act on it.
  • Only create a Life ID for yourself, your child, or an adult who has agreed to it.
  • Tell your emergency contacts that you have listed them.
  • If a card is lost or stolen, replace its QR from your dashboard.
  • Do not use the service to publish someone else's details without consent, or anything unlawful or abusive.

What we cannot promise

We work to keep the service available, but we cannot guarantee that a QR will be noticed, scanned or acted on, that a phone will have a connection, or that a contact will answer. Do not rely on a Life ID as your only safeguard.

Medical information

Information on a Life ID is provided by its owner and is not verified by us. Medical professionals should confirm it before relying on it.

Suspension

We may disable a Life ID or suspend an account that is reported for misuse or that breaks these terms.

Leaving

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. See the privacy policy for what is removed.
